In the heart of Brick, New Jersey, Revolution Hair stands as more than just a salon — it’s the result of passion, resilience, and a love for creativity that’s been years in the making. Behind the chair is a stylist who’s seen and done it all, blending technical mastery with an authentic connection to her clients.
Licensed since 2004 and working in salons since she was just 16, the stylist behind Revolution
Hair has built a career defined by evolution. “I’ve been licensed in three states by the time I was
20,” she shares. “After managing a salon for five years, I opened my own — Revolution: A Hair
Movement — right here in Brick.” What started as a full-service salon grew into an on-site bridal
hair and makeup company, which she ran successfully until the world changed during COVID.
Taking two years off to focus on family, she later found inspiration in a new direction — salon
suites. “When I learned New Jersey was getting salon suites, I was elated,” she says. “Having
worked in other states that had this concept forever, I knew it was exactly what I needed. It
allowed me to be my own boss and still have balance.”
Now operating as Revolution Hair, her studio blends artistry, independence, and community —
a space where every appointment feels like catching up with an old friend. “I very much enjoy
my small studio and my clients — gossiping, jamming out to music, and creating some bomb
ass hair,” she laughs.
When it comes to her craft, versatility is key. “I do a plethora of different styling. I like to be
diverse,” she explains. “My favorites, though, are color correction and formal styling for
weddings or events. And a lot of people find me for pixie cuts — short styling isn’t something all
stylists are proficient in.”
Her dedication to keeping up with the ever-changing beauty world is another part of what makes
Revolution Hair thrive. “Social media has completely changed the industry,” she says.
“Everything is at your fingertips now, but it’s also important to find reputable classes in your
area.” She continues to invest in her education, recently earning certification with Bellami Hair
Extensions, one of the top names in the industry.
From managing busy salons to creating bridal looks and now running her own cozy studio, her
journey reflects the spirit of reinvention — just like the name suggests.
